Opti-Cal develops and manufactures laser based linear encoders along with associated interface electronics.  Premium Performance at economical prices is made possible by novel, patented, electro-optical designs.  Linear motion control or measurement is made easy as these devices are compact, fast, and accurate with wide alignment latitude.  The standard Micro Path Encoder series cover resolutions from 1 micron to 5 nanometer.

Opti-Cal also manufactures, fully integrated linear motion stages.  These provide point to point moves of 5 nanometer, with ultra-smooth constant velocity operation.
