Read Heads  Linear Scales

The Micro Path Encoders are non-contacting and operate in reflection.  They use laser point source diffraction from a movable scale and a hologram to sense linear displacement.  The technique uses a minimum of optical elements, yet offers many beneficial performance features.  These encoders provide high resolution at a low cost.  There are several configurations of read heads, scales, and signal processing electronics. We welcome custom applications.  The technology is readily adaptable, and allows for some unique applications.  We look forward to inquiries.

ZeroTrack Linear Slides

These positioners integrate a linear stage, encoder, drive, and controller in one package. They control position to 5 nanometer, and provide for ultra-smooth constant velocity moves.
